HomeInsta Pro ("we", "us", or "the App") is a productivity tool for real estate professionals to manage properties, leads, contacts, and follow-ups. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights under applicable laws including India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDPA), GDPR, and other privacy regulations.

1. Information We Collect

We collect only the information required to provide the App's features:

• Account Information: Name, email address, and mobile number, provided by you during registration.
• Business Data You Create: Property listings, lead details, customer contact information, notes, photos, and documents you add to the App.
• Contacts (Optional): If you grant permission, we access your device contacts only to let you add them as leads within the App. Contacts are not uploaded in bulk or used for any other purpose.
• Photos & Media (Optional): If you grant permission, we access your photo library or camera only for the purpose of attaching images to property or lead records you create.
• Push Notification Token: A unique token used to deliver reminders, follow-up alerts, and alarms you schedule within the App.
• Device & Usage Information: Basic device model, OS version, app version, and crash logs for stability and support purposes.

Data Types Collected for Google Play Store

For transparency with Google Play Store requirements, we categorize the data we collect as follows:

• Personal Information: Name, email, phone number
• Business Contact Information: Customer names, phone numbers, emails (provided by you)
• Photos and Videos: Property images and documents you upload
• App Activity: App usage patterns, feature interactions, and crash reports
• Device ID: Push notification token for delivering notifications

We do NOT collect: Location data, financial information, health data, or sensitive personal information beyond what's necessary for the app's business functionality.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and maintain the App's core features (property management, lead tracking, follow-up reminders).
• To send you notifications and alarms that you have explicitly scheduled.
• To communicate with you about your account, support queries, and important updates.
• To diagnose technical issues and improve app performance.
• To comply with applicable legal obligations.

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We share information only in the following limited circumstances:

• Service Providers: With trusted infrastructure partners (for example, cloud hosting, crash reporting) that help us operate the App. These providers are bound by confidentiality obligations.
• Legal Requirements: If required by a valid legal request or to protect rights, safety, and security.
• With Your Consent: When you explicitly choose to share data (for example, sharing a property listing via WhatsApp or exporting a report).

4. Permissions We Request

• Notifications (POST_NOTIFICATIONS): To deliver reminders and follow-up alerts.
• Exact Alarm (SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM): To trigger time-sensitive follow-up alarms at the exact time you set.
• Boot Completed (RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED): To reschedule your alarms after device restart so you don't miss reminders.
• Contacts: Read-only access, used solely to let you import a contact as a lead when you choose to.
• Camera / Photo Library: Used only when you explicitly attach a photo to a record.
• Vibrate: For notification feedback.

All permissions can be revoked at any time from your device settings.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account information and business data for as long as your account remains active. If you delete your account, your personal data is deleted within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (for example, financial records for statutory periods).

6. Your Rights

Under the DPDPA and other applicable laws, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate or incomplete personal data.
• Delete your personal data and close your account.
• Withdraw consent for optional data processing.
• Raise a grievance about how your data is handled.

7. Children's Privacy

HomeInsta Pro is a business productivity tool intended for users aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

We use industry-standard safeguards including HTTPS/TLS encryption in transit, access controls, and secure credential storage. No system is perfectly secure, but we continuously review and improve our security practices.
